Nora the Carnivore

[SCENE: Int., Whole Foods, Meat Counter.]

NORA: Mom, I think every day should be a meat holiday.

[The CUSTOMER in line in front of VICTORIA and NORA snorts.]

VICTORIA: And what, exactly is a meat holiday?

NORA: Well! It is a holiday where you eat nothing but meat all day long!

CUSTOMER: I can get behind that!

[SCENE: Maison de Stijl.]

VICTORIA [to PHIL]: Nora told me that she thinks every day should be a meat holiday. What's a meat holiday, Nora?

NORA: Well! It's a holiday, and it's a day where you eat a lot of meat! But ACTUALLY, I think every day should be a BACON holiday.

PHIL: You are definitely my daughter.

VICTORIA: I tried to get Mommy to buy you and me chocolate-covered bacon at Whole Foods, you know.

Thanks, Pat. :)

Yeah, yeah, I typed it too quickly. Just imagine it was Nora saying that.

She saw the Vosges bacon bars from across the deli, by the way. It was really quite impressive.

I think that you should make these with Nora.

http://www.notmartha.org/archives/2008/02/27/bacon-cupsBacon cups...nummy! And fill them with more bacon.

And then post pix.

This is justKim from the J! boards, but I'm too lazy to sign in as anything

Wow, Nora might even want to eat salad if it were in one of those. (Though I like your idea of bacon-filled bacon cups better!) The appropriate dessert, of course, would be Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies.
